A Podcast for Traders by a Trader

When I launched this blog, it was a very loose plan. I knew I wanted to share my experience but wasn’t exactly sure what that meant. After a year of trodding through it, I’ve figured it out. The challenges I faced were what to talk about, what to share, and how much to share. This is very personal stuff that I’m sharing here and I was worried that if I wasn’t open enough, that I would just be paying lip service to this effort. At the same time, I don’t want my family finances plastered all over the web.

Finding My Way As A Trader

“If there were 38 million traders in the world, and you examined their methods, you would uncover 38 million different ways of trading.”

A trading instructor shared that quote with me. I valued it because it sounded cool and I respect the person who said it. That said, I didn’t truly understand or appreciate it. That was a year ago before I became a full-time trader. It’s meaning is crystal clear to me now.

Monthly Analysis for March 2019

March proved to be a great month. I corrected a lot of the bad habits that I let creep into my trading in January. As a result, I had a profitable month. The goal is to remain true to the process because profitability is a by product of the process. I don’t know to whom to attribute the quote to but the saying “money is a measure of how well you keep your commitments” applies to trading as it does in any business. To us, our commitment is to our trade plan. My goal was to adhere to my trade plan, I did, and was rewarded for it. This article analyzes how that happened.
